Policies

Good to know before you book

Deposit & payment

A deposit is required to confirm your appointment. The amount varies by service and goes toward your total. Deposits are non-refundable. The remaining balance is due on the day of your appointment.

Cancellations & rescheduling

You can reschedule once with at least 24 hours’ notice. Canceling, or rescheduling with less than 24 hours’ notice, forfeits your deposit. There is a 10-minute grace period; 10–30 minutes late adds a $15 late fee, and over 30 minutes late cancels the appointment and forfeits the deposit. No guests or children, please.

Refunds

No refunds are offered. If you have any concerns about your service, please raise them before leaving so they can be addressed. Once you leave, your service is considered accepted.

Appointment prep

Arrive with clean, fully detangled, fully blown-out hair, free of heavy oils, grease or product buildup — ready for braiding.

Hair & add-ons

Hair is included with every style by default. Review the add-ons before booking to customize your appointment. Bringing your own hair? Choose that option when booking.

Hair & scalp conditions

Let us know about thinning areas, alopecia, sensitive areas or other scalp concerns before your appointment so we can confirm your style is suitable.

Color variations

Braiding hair is dyed in batches, so slight color variations can occur between batches. We do our best to keep colors consistent, but exact matches can’t be guaranteed.

Length guide

Which length should I book?

Lengths are measured down the back, from mid-back to ankle. Pick the length you want your braids to end at, and if your natural hair already falls past it, choose the next length down the chart.
